Well how could we be so lucky, fat tuesday and super tuesday falling on the same day, ironic isn't it?? Ya know, I have been talking to my friends and family more and they all say with a resounding "hell ya", that I am doing much better here in Chicago. I am so much more happier, calmer, more relaxed and free to be just me. I am not living for my dad anylonger. I am living for me RANDY PAUL THOMPSON from now on, if anybody still doesn't like it, or may not agree with it, you know where you can stick it.
NO particular order...Here are few things in my life I love here in chicago..
seeing my God in a whole new light, that I didn't think would be possible.
long walks on the beach and boadwalk with my dogs.
being able to enjoy all 4 seasons.
being alone in the stillness and serenity on my rooftop deck staring into Lake Michigan.
having 5 good gay neighbors that are now friends of mine. ( we watch each others dogs!)
a unique and political stance without being judged.
having 2 workout partners. YES!
no longer owning a car, as to not keep poluting the envirnoment, (much cheaper, also).
a great church that is committed into building relationships with in the community!
closer to friends and my famuly.
My life is definetly changing much for the better dogs, snake, friends, church and my insanity level as dropped now to more of a sane, calm, and stable person in this wonderful community.
I have been trucking along in life and trying to take in all that I can with what God has blessed me with. Started a new bible study with a new friend from Wichita Kansas, that has about the same exact background. Great guy, my store manager at Starbucks is a beliver, so I always have her on my side. Last but not least, GO VOTE PEOPLE. Change is in the air!
